The hike along the Fish Lake Interpretive Trail was green and quiet and peaceful. The forest floor was covered with spongy moss. Mushrooms sprouted through the natural carpet. Squirrels chattered in the trees; their middens visible along the trail. The short 45 minute hike is a must-do if you are camping at the recreation area.
