The moon is almost full and the sky is clear.  The stars are twinkling and the moonlight is making the snow crystals sparkle like diamonds.

The deer have been coming into the yard.  Their silhouettes stand out against the white blanket that is covering the lawn.  

I've seen the buck with the huge antlers only once.  The one with 'first year' antlers has been the regular.  I have a feeling that he was one of the little ones that visited regularly last year.

I was going to head out for a moonlight ski but decided on an early morning ski instead.  I can finally dust off the new skis!
