It was almost dark on the drive home but light enough for me to see two moose and a deer feeding along a fence line.  There were no deer waiting for me on the driveway but a couple of beautiful bucks showed up shortly after I filled the food dish.  Both had full sets of antlers. 

Seeing them solved a mystery. Both feeders were knocked off their pole and the pole was leaning.  It looked like the antlers may have tangled in the hangers.  

The group of seven deer did not arrive tonight but a single doe and a single fawn showed up for a little snack.  I get to see new furry faces each day.  I'm wondering if they are hiding out close to the hamlet due to hunting season.  We'll see what happens when it ends.  Until then, I'll enjoy the antics of their daily visits.
